Committees
Dakota Future has two standing committees: Economic Development and International Trade.
The Economic Development Committee is an informal networking group of community economic developers, workforce practitioners and private sector developers and builders. This group meets monthly to share information on development trends, projects and opportunities.
The International Trade Committee hosts foreign trade delegations in partnership with the MN Trade Office and occasional trade seminars. The committee has also conducted its own trade missions to China and Ireland. They have also represented Dakota Future on Governor’s Trade missions to other countries. This group meets quarterly.
We are also creating project committees in support of our Intelligent Community Initiative. We will create new workgroups or support existing teams addressing:
- Broadband
- Knowledge Workers
- Innovation
- Digital Inclusion
- Marketing
